Aunt Bertha's Cookies

Ingredients

1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
2 cup flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup rice krispies
1/2 cup nuts

Instructions

  1. Cream butter and sugar.
  2. Sift dry ingredients.
  3. Add to creamed mixture.
  4. Stir in nuts and rice krispies.
  5. Drop from spoon.
  6. Flatten with fork.
  7. Bake on ungreased pan about 12 minutes at 350°F.

Comments

  1. This recipe makes 56 2-inch diameter cookies when using the Pampered Chef small scoop (1 tbs).
  2. You can place 24 per cookie sheet -- 6 rows of 4 -- space about 2-1/2 to 3 inches apart. However, you'll be stuck doing a 3rd sheet anyway, so you only need to aim for 20 per sheet.
