Italian Sausage

This recipe came from my Aunt Mildred.


1-1/2 - 2 lb Italian sausage
1 can tomato sauce
1 can mushrooms
1-2 green peppers, sliced


Preheat oven to 350F. Put Italian sausage in oven to brown for 1/2 hour. Add tomato sauce, mushrooms and green pepper and bake another hour.

I often replace the tomato sauce with spaghetti sauce and the canned mushrooms with fresh ones.
