This was the first batch of homebrew I ever made. It came in a kit from doublesprings.com. Evidently it was good enough for me to decide that brewing was a worthwhile hobby.
Ingredients
8 lb pale barley syrup
2.25 oz Czech Saaz hops
1/2 tsp Irish moss
1 pkt Czech Pils Lager (Wyeast #2278)
Instructions
Boil syrup, hops and water (to make 5 gallons) for 50 minutes. Add the Irish moss, and boil for 10 more minutes. Cool immediately to 70°-74°F. Pitch yeast.
